The friction
Small boutiques often have to choose between a generic storefront that works and a custom brand experience that becomes hard to shop. The visual personality gets flattened, or the path from discovery to cart gets buried under it.
What I built
A responsive storefront demo with curated collections, styled looks, search and category filters, product detail flows, favorites, cart behavior, store policies, and a VIP signup path in one cohesive brand system.
Key decision
The brand leads visually, but familiar commerce patterns still lead the task. Collection stories create personality; search, filters, policy details, and cart feedback keep the experience understandable.
Current build
The public route is a working storefront demo with seeded catalog content and client-side interactions. It demonstrates the shopping experience without presenting the portfolio build as a live retail operation or checkout service.
Working proof
- Sixteen seeded products can be searched, filtered, favorited, and added to cart.
- Featured looks turn merchandising stories into direct paths back to the catalog.
- Policies and customer-care details are part of the interface instead of footer afterthoughts.
