GIS site map
Anchor plan point 0,0 to a real latitude and longitude. Lot Control keeps
optimizing in exact local feet, while this map projects the same bounds, gates, buildings,
obstacles, rows, stalls, and calibrated blueprint onto the earth.

Blueprint underlay
Load a plan image beneath the live lot, then calibrate it from a printed
dimension. Large source drawings get a storage-safe working copy without changing their
proportions. The image, alignment, visibility, and calibration travel with layout JSON.
No blueprint loaded
Load a blueprint to calibrate its scale.
On the plan: drag to move,
drag the corner to resize (aspect stays locked),
drag the dial above it to rotate. Hold
Shift to snap resize to 5ft or rotation to 15°.
Lock position turns off all three so tracing the
boundary over it can't bump it out of place.

Rows order sets the sort path
On the plan: drag a row to move it;
drag its end handle to add/remove spaces.
Hold Shift to snap to row pitch.
In this list: drag to change where a row falls in the sort order.
Buildings
Drag a building on the plan to move it; drag its
corner to resize. Hold
Shift to snap to 5ft.
Obstacles
Light poles, islands, dumpsters, keep-clear lanes. Drag one
on the plan to move it; drag its corner to
resize. The dashed ring is its clearance buffer —
the optimizer won't stripe a stall inside it. Set the type in this list to
change the buffer.
Site features & doors
Mapping a real lot: pick a feature, then click
the plan or the map to drop one. The mode stays on so you can tap in every
pole and tree in one pass — Escape or clicking the
same button again turns it off.
Doors hang on a building wall and snap to
the nearest one, so add the building first. Doors don't block parking — they
pull. Drag a door along its wall, or onto another building entirely.
Bounds & gates
Bounds… ▸ Trace the perimeter (toolbar) then click the
plan to lay boundary points; a live readout shows each segment's length in
feet, and every finished edge stays labelled. Double-click
(or click the first point) to close — the bounds must enclose every row
and building already on the plan, or the close is refused with a message
saying what's outside. Backspace undoes
the last point while drawing. To keep drawing, click the
green last point (or press Draw
bounds again). Drag a vertex to reshape,
Alt-click one to remove it; Remove bounds deletes the
whole boundary. Gates are holes in the bounds — toggle
+ Gate on, then click each boundary line where an
entrance is (drop as many as you like), then mark each gate IN, OUT,
or IN + OUT; press + Gate again (or
Esc) to finish. Optimize layout then fills
the bounds with the most spaces that stay drivable from a gate.
